Non-Contributory Pension
The Non-Contributory Pension is the benefit received by people who retire, or who are disabled and who have not paid into Social Security or have not reached, having done so, the minimum number of years required to access said benefit.
The objective of the Non-Contributory Pension is to guarantee a minimum income, in addition to free medical and pharmaceutical assistance (along with complementary social services).
Two types of Non-Contributory Pensions can be accessed:
* Non-Contributory Retirement Pension.
* Non-Contributory Disability Pension.
